I woke up this morning with simplicity in my heart. I asked myself, how can I make today enjoyable and beautiful. As I stood in my kitchen I thought…”a simple smoothie to start my day is what I need.” I think we can all agree that Mondays bring a different kind of re-set if you will for the week. We want to refocus and head into the week strong and healthy. I strive for this most days, but especially Mondays.

Banana smoothies

Banana Oat Smoothie

  • 1/4 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 banana, cut into thirds
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or regular milk
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

In your blender mix all of the above together…serve immediately.
