It’s as easy as beans and bacon – yum! A perfect side to any seasonal grilling, whether it be a juicy burger, fish or bone-in chicken. If you have leftover beans (which is highly unlikely) you can toss them into your salad the next day for extra flavor and flair.
Beans & Bacon
~ 1 lb green beans, washed and trimmed
~ 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
~ 1 tablespoon olive or coconut oil
~ 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes
~ Salt & pepper to taste
Fire up that grill to a nice 375 degrees. In a foil packet toss the beans, oil and salt & pepper. Close the packet and grill for about 7-10 minutes flipping once. Open the packet and toss the tomatoes and cooked bacon in the foil, cook for about 3-5 minutes or until the tomatoes are soft.
Enjoy!
