I am so excited because Santa delivered me a Nutri Bullet for Christmas. I am patiently awaiting for my delivery this week for super fresh produce. I think we can all say that this time of year we look to make some changes, perhaps better choices for our health and well being. It usually starts with food and exercise because they go hand in hand.

Having any sort of produce, protein and water or milk on hand will easily blend you a satisfying smoothie. By adding the peanut butter, it really gives this smoothie the depth and a little more filler than only adding fruits and vegetables. You will be delightfully surprised.

Green Peanut Butter Smoothie

1 banana

1 cup almond milk

1 cup chopped kale

1 cup apple, peeled and chopped

2 tablespoons peanut butter

1 teaspoon chia or flax seed (optional)

Dash of cinnamon

Toss all of the above in a blender and have at it. Add 1/2 cup of ice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
