Introducing The Pink Pearl Apple

When normal, well behaving, adults let their hair down, freak out, and start randomly doing the happy dance over apples! At first, it appears to be a normal apple, but when you take that first bite you get something you could never have imagined. They’re called Pink Pearl Apples!

Pssst….Word on the street is that we will have them for next week’s deliveries. 😉

Coming to us from Washington state, these sweet and tart organic apples will only be available for 2 weeks! Sometimes misshapen like an heirloom tomato, they are always colorful and delicious.

Native to California, the Pink Pearl was introduced in 1944 by the renowned California plant breeder Albert Etter. Etter cross-pollinated apple varieties to create hybrids with distinct characteristics. Etter’s Pink Pearl was well received by apple eaters everywhere.

Tart and tasty, these eye-popping apples have a delightful pink exterior and a stunning scarlet flesh. This very rare variety is great for snacking as well as baking and will have your co-workers and classmates pink with envy!
