Year in review: Let’s look back at 2015

Thanks for a great 2015!  We are so appreciative of all our loyal customers and thrive off of your wonderful feedback and support.  2015 was a great year for Doorganics as we strived to deliver locally produced foods and organic produce through a simple online experience. Before we jump into 2016 let’s look back at some of the top moments of 2015.

Healthy Food to Neighbors in Need!

Each week we donate our leftover organic produce to God’s Kitchen. We’re proud to help provide nutritious fresh food to the hungry in our West Michigan community. Since 2012, we’ve donated more than 70,000 lbs of produce! We’re thankful for our customers who make this donation possible.

Farm Visits With The Doorganics Team

Our favorite team activity is to visit local farmers and learn first hand about where this great food is coming from. In 2015 you helped us more than double our purchases of produce from West Michigan farmers. See some pics below. We can’t wait for spring to get back out on the farms again.

Fork Fest

Fork Fest is an annual food party hosted by Local First that celebrates West Michigan businesses. Local isn’t just a place on a map. It’s people: your neighbors and their families, their businesses, farms, nonprofits, events, and recreational venues. Local is a community and all of the opportunities we create together and challenges we work to overcome. Local First has a passion for people living and working together in sustainable community and that’s why Doorganics is proud to be a part of Local First.

Moved to a bigger & better facility

Four years ago, Doorganics officially launched with a delivery van and ONE farm partner. We’re proud to celebrate our move to a bigger and better facility! Thank you to everyone who has supported our local business. We are very excited for what’s to come and have some exciting new things coming your way. From new product lines to fresh new meal kits to help make grocery shopping even easier for you.

New Faces of 2015

Our team continued to grow in 2015! We added four new faces and with them came new talents to help enhance the business. These fellas are super passionate about “local & organic” and we’re excited to have them onboard. Would you believe that we have a total of 11 employees now?!

-Improved shopping experience that will make food shopping easy and delightful.
